This is the house we moved into in December 2005. We used to live in the loverly village of Burton Salmon. Sherburn has better facilities ( shops, schools ) which should save us money since we don't have to use the cars so often. Its also on a bus route to Leeds, and has a nearby train station for Leeds and Hull.

This is the back garden, just after we moved in. Alison had begun to work the area in front of the shed. The shed is housing my cacti collection.

And the front of the house.

The back garden again, from a different view. The big tree in the back is part of a preservation order.

This is the area in front of the shed as it currently is, with a path and the pond. Most of the garden is supposed to be wild life friendly. We hope to have frogs in the pond next year.

This is a wild plant that has grown naturally in the back of the garden - we don't know what it is.

And a close up of the flowers. Its very nice what ever it is.

I made this from some old branches that fell in the winter storms. Its ready for climbing plants to cover it.

Bird table, bird bath, and more wild plants.

Another bird bath, and that purple plant again.
